Privacy PolicyTerms & Conditions

1. Who we are

Senior Care Ltd operates residential care homes and home-care services in Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet. This policy explains what personal and health information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to assess, deliver and audit care.

  • Identity and contact details of the resident and the family point of contact
  • Health information: diagnoses, medication, mobility, cognition, allergies, hospital records you share with us
  • Care records created by our staff: vitals, medication logs, shift notes, incident reports
  • Billing information, and call or WhatsApp records with the careline
  • Photographs, only where written consent has been given

3. How we use it

Health information is used to write and review the care plan, to administer medication safely, and to hand over between shifts. Contact details are used to reach you about care, billing and emergencies.

  • We do not sell personal or health data to anyone, ever
  • We do not use resident health data for marketing
  • Anonymised, aggregated data may be used to report service quality

4. Who can see care records

Access is limited to the staff delivering that resident’s care, the supervising physician, and the named family point of contact. Records are shared outside this group only with your consent, or where a hospital needs them in an emergency, or where law requires it.

5. Retention

Care records are kept for six years after care ends, in line with clinical record-keeping practice, then destroyed. Billing records are kept as tax law requires. Photographs are deleted on request at any time.

6. Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the records we hold, ask for corrections, withdraw photograph consent, or ask us to stop contacting you for anything other than active care.

  • Write to privacy@seniorcare.com.bd
  • We reply within five working days
  • There is no charge for a first copy of records

7. Security

Digital records are held on access-controlled systems with staff-level permissions. Paper records at each home are stored in locked cabinets in the nursing station. Staff sign a confidentiality undertaking on joining, and breaches are treated as gross misconduct.

8. Changes to this policy

Material changes are notified to active families in writing at least 30 days before they take effect. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.

This page is a mockup draft for client review. Final wording should be checked by a Bangladeshi legal adviser before publication, particularly the clauses on health-data retention and liability.
